DPA BLM6000-B Boundary Layer Mount for 4060/61/62/63
The BLM6000 Boundary Layer Mount is a unique accessory that enhances the versatility of your d:screet Miniature Lavalier Microphone. It is a soft piece of durable rubber with a diameter of 75 mm (2.95 in). It has an underside cavity for mounting a d:screetô 4060, 4061, 4062 or 4063 microphone.
Users will benefit from the special characteristics of the surrounding sound field on which the mic is mounted: a 6 dB gain of direct sound and only a 3 dB gain of the diffuse sound. The sound captured has both greater clarity, especially at high frequencies, and speech intelligibility compared to sound captured above the surface.
The BLM6000 Boundary Layer Mount can be mounted on all surfaces that reflect sound such as floors, walls or ceilings.
Placing a Miniature Lavalier Microphone in this little device on the inside lid of an open grand piano also provides a very distinct and crispy sound.
Hire Equipment
We have an extensive inventory of audio equipment for hire with competitive rates ready at a moment's notice. We pay the most meticulous attention to detail in our hire prep so you can travel to shoots with the peace of mind that you have everything you need.
Weekly Rental
For weekly rental, you can pick up your gear the day before your production shoot after 3:00pm, and return by 10:00am after your shoot day. In the case of 7 day rental, you will only be charged for 4 billing days.
Shipping
If shipping is required, we require a two day minimum hire period, with a travel day inbetween.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours before pick up date, any notice within 24 hours of the pick up date will be charged a prep fee of 25% of the total amount.
Insurance
Customers will provide a certificate of insurance listing Everything Audio as "loss payee" and "additional insured".
